Midnight at the Oasis
The Southwest’s premier classic car festival takes place each year on the first weekend in March. With over 900 gleaming cars, trucks, and motorcycles coming in from all over the desert southwest, the event features cars and music from the 1950s-60s. Concerts with popular tribute bands, food and retail vendors, and a Show n' Shine day of pre-1972 cars and trucks are the hallmarks of the large event. The festival begins with a free preview on Thursday night with the Rally on Main Street in downtown Yuma. The preview includes a Fun Run through Yuma culminating with a Cruise-In on Yuma's Main Street. The Fun Run and the Cruise-In are open to anyone with a classic car (1972 and older). Everybody from gearheads to classic car enthusiasts to those who enjoy all the odd and wonderful shapes and colors of these vehicles comes in and has a great time at this annual event in Yuma.
