It's time to strap in and hold on. The Yuma Air Show is upon us

The high-flying adventure is set March 9, 2024

The Yuma Air Show has been one of the Desert Southwest's most anticipated events for decades. In a rare opportunity, the general public is invited to enter one of the nation's top military installations Marine Corps. Air Station Yuma. The base is home to the country's elite fifth-generation fighter the F35B Joint Strike Fighter.  The Free event gives you a first-hand look at some of the military's aerial arsenal as well as a variety of performances including the 3rd Marin Aircraft Band, the Hot Streak II Jet Truck, and other aerial demonstrations.

The Yuma Air Show pays homage to warriors lost with demonstrations which included WWI and WWII-era aircraft like the P-38J fighter. This year, a P-38J will be accompanied by an F-22 Raptor to signify the past meeting the future. Besides the amazing attractions in the sky, spectators will be treated to other aircraft and military vehicles on the ground. The base also welcomes local businesses to set up displays and offers nonprofits a place to fundraise. There will also be food and merchandise vendors.
