Cocopah Speedway

Looking for motor-sport action? Head for Cocopah Speedway. Located seven miles south of Yuma with panoramic views of the west valley, this 3/8 mile semi-banked dirt and clay oval is one of the top dirt tracks in the country. It didn’t get the nickname Diamond in the Desert for nothing!

Cocopah Speedway offers racing action from fall to spring in hobby stock, sport mod, and modified divisions sanctioned by the IMCA (International Motorsport Contest Association). Mach-1 Sports Compacts are a new addition to run at the Speedway.

Cocopah’s competition draws drivers from across the Southwest, Southern California, and the local area, so you can root for your favorite hometown driver or the out-of-towner. With seating capacity for 4,000 in the concrete grandstand, plenty of free parking, a racer store, and a large pit area, you won’t feel crowded under the big sky. Get revved up and come out for a night at the races!
