Lindy Caudle stars in episode airing Saturday, will demo at Yuma Lettuce Days in March
YUMA, ARIZONA - Baker Lindy Caudle, owner of Lou's Guiltless Goodies, stars in an upcoming Cupcake Wars episode on Food Network. Lindy was raised on her family's farm outside of Yuma and now resides in Del Rio, Texas, with her husband and two boys.
Caudle, a graduate of University of Arizona, relocated to El Paso a few years ago with her husband. While there, she started her home-based baking business, where she would regularly bake over 500 cupcakes in her home kitchen with no staff and just one oven. She has since relocated her business to Del Rio, Texas.
What makes Lindy's cupcakes guiltless? Well, although they taste as guilty as traditional cupcakes, Lou's cupcakes have less fat.
Lou's Guiltless Goodies cupcakes have been eaten from coast to coast and now, Arizonans will have a chance to taste them as well. Lindy will be featured as the celebrity dessert chef at Yuma's annual Harvest Dinner on Feb. 27 and also will appear on the cooking stage at Yuma Lettuce Days, March 1-2, which has been recognized as one of Arizona's Best Special Events with a Governor's Tourism Award.
Don't miss this opportunity to support one of Arizona's own. Be sure to tune in to the Food Network on Saturday, (Dec. 28) at 7 p.m. CST to see her episode. To get a taste of what caught the Food Network's eye, check out her audition tape at http://youtu.be/mmiduTksj-c.
