The weather is cooling off and it is now a great time for a train ride on this 7 1/2" gauge railroad. Come and see the progress, that has been made.   A railroad signal is now in place, a foundation for the water tower and footers for the 80' tunnel. The ride is approximately 12 minutes long and you go over our bridge, under the bridge through the Baby Grand Canyon of Yuma, pass many other features along the way.  Located just below the Historical Prison in Riverside Park, catch a ride on the 2nd & 4th weekend on Saturday & Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  A $2 donation to help cover the cost of running the trains will be greatly appreciated.

Come and enjoy this annual fun, popular holiday event at Fisher's Landing where 75 parade entries will decorate their golf carts, rzrs, jeeps, boats and floats.

Also integrated into this event is the Chili Cook-Off and tasting event. You can enter your crockpot of homemade chili and be entered to win braggin rights to being the (Best Chili Maker on the River).   After the awards hot bowls of steaming chili are sold for $ 2.00 with all proceeds from the Chili Cook-Off benefiting Amberly’s Place.

Parade Entry winners will be announced and there will be an auction of a quilt with all proceeds from the Parade of Lights going to benefit the Marine Corp Toys 4 Tots.

There is no entry fee to be in the Parade of Lights, we just ask that everyone bring an unwrapped gift to the Marine donation station which is located by the Hog Shed.
