This class is designed to give students a foundation in drawing. Students will learn basic techniques including: value, line, gesture, shading, perspective, and composition. Students will work with graphite and charcoal and draw from still life and photographs. All supplies included.

Bring your binoculars on this trip and you will be amazed at the stars and galaxies that can be seen so clearly while kayaking the Colorado River. The Saturday's at the Museum series, held the first Saturday of the month from April through September at the Colorado River State Historic Park will be a fun and exciting time. Participants will enjoy hands-on learning while creating historic crafts. Space is limited to 20 children per activity. The cost to attend is $4 per child and $6 per adult. Open to children age 7 & up and must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required and tickets can be purchased at the Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area Office.
