Spoil Dad

It’s the one day of the year we all need to do what Dad wants! You can take him out to eat at his favorite restaurant, get together for an early game of golf, or hangout at his favorite fishing spot. You can also treat him to something special from a Yuma shop!  Dandy Home & Ranch has great stuff for dad including classic farm hats and custom cups.  Our favorite says, “Well Done, Dad! I’m Awesome.” Dream Gift Shop has a men’s area with great gift ideas.  Or you could pick out something at Sprague’s Sporting Goods.

"Sixteen Candles," the 80's classic, is showing this weekend. A teen's special birthday is forgotten by her family who are distracted by her sister's wedding, and to compound things, she has a crush on a popular classmate and is being wooed by a sophomoric geek. The movies take place at Desert Sun Stadium with social distancing and safety measures in place. Showings for this week are Friday night at dusk. Please arrive no later than 8:10 p.m.  You must purchase pre-sale tickets. The cost is $5 per car at YumaShowTickets.com.
