YUMA, ARIZ. — On Thursday, October 22, 2020, the Yuma Visitor Information Center and Visit Yuma’s administrative staff are hosting an open house to celebrate the recent relocation. On October 1, 2020, Visit Yuma relocated to the new Historic Downtown location, making it a convenient one-stop shop for visitors and residents to learn more about local tours and events, as well as purchase uniquely Yuman souvenirs.

The all-day open house invites visitors to pop in and see the newly renovated space and enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages. “We have put in a great deal of work to create a welcoming place for visitors and residents to come and learn about our great city,” says Linda Morgan, Executive Director of Visit Yuma. “The new space truly emulates the historic downtown while adding a fresh look and feel with the building’s renovations,” continued Morgan. At 4 p.m., an exclusive ceremony will take place to thank those members who have been instrumental in making this move such a success. The 4 p.m. program will be broadcasted on Facebook Live. Masks and social distancing regulations will be observed.

Formerly located at the Colorado River State Historic Park, the Visitor Information Center (VIC) offers visitors and locals information and souvenirs to make their trip to Yuma memorable. Stop in any day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to check out the new location.
