Visit Yuma presents Ag to Art Farmer’s Market: Feeding the Body and Soul.
We are looking for vendors, for agriculture and arts products. Free booth spaces are available. For participation and inquiries email us at email@example.com or call us 928-376-0100.
Here’s how you can be involved:
--Have a booth to sell your goods if you sell something related to farm produce or made from fresh, grown items. This could include homemade soap, fresh eggs, herbs and spices, dried fruits, fresh veggies, baked goods, dog treats, etc.
--Have a booth to sell your pieces if you sell anything related to the arts. This could be paintings, drawings, jewelry, pottery or ceramics, fiber arts, your music, musical instruments, or classes at your performing or visual arts organization, for example.
--If you teach yoga or martial arts, or work with children’s organizations that put on demonstrations (Boy Scouts teaching visitors to the market how to tie knots?), you can offer short hourly demonstrations or classes for the public to take part in. We are seeking ways for the market to be experiential, interactive, and fun for all ages, so call us to discuss your ideas if what you do might be a fit in this area. You are welcome to solicit for new customers.
--If you are in the performing arts, you may have a booth and perform, or you also don’t necessarily need to set up a booth, if you’d like to just perform. There are also options for performers/artists showing their craft. You may offer a short hourly performance for the public to enjoy. You may also work in short, group lessons for guitar or salsa dancing, or watercolor painting, if your craft is one that you’d like to teach to others. We ask that you offer at least two 15-30 minute sessions during the time that the market is taking place. You are welcome to solicit for new customers.
Items to be sold will be subject to approval by Visit Yuma.
