Softball Tournaments

Many softball tournaments are held in Yuma each year, not only due to an ideal sunny and warm climate but because of the new fields’ facilities which offer the latest amenities. The Pacific Avenue Athletic Complex was opened in 2017, complete with six, 325-foot lighted softball fields, state-of-the-art PA systems, digital scoreboards, restrooms, concession space, a covered picnic area, meeting room, paved parking, and playground spanning 50 acres within minutes of downtown Yuma. There’s easy access to restaurants, shopping, lodging, and more, within minutes of the complex. The Ray Kroc Sports Complex was formerly the spring training home of Major League Baseball’s San Diego Padres. This 26-acre multi-use sports complex is capable of hosting sports events and is conveniently adjacent to the Yuma Civic Center.

With more than 4,000 hotel rooms, plentiful bus parking, and so much to do when you’re not on the field, teams will want to plan to stay an extra day or two. Visit Yuma’s Groups Sales team can assist you with itineraries for pre- or post-play days, or in coming up with great, active adventures in the nearby Sonoran Desert or on the Colorado River.
