Tens of thousands of raw troops underwent rigorous training during World War II at Yuma Proving Ground's Camp Laguna before deploying to combat fronts around the world. The training was tough and everyone lived in tents, with no electricity or air conditioning. On this tour, attendees will visit actual sites that remain today from the sprawling camp.  Tour attendees must be mobile and in good physical condition, as walking over uneven desert terrain is required.  Everyone must wear close-toed shoes, hiking boots are suggested.  Tour departs from the Yuma Visitor Information Center.  Purchase tickets here.
