Sublime with Rome will be performing in the Pipa Event Center. Sublime with Rome is a musical collaboration between Eric Wilson, formerly of the American ska punk band Sublime, and singer and guitarist Rome Ramirez. The group's name is not only a reference to the singer's first name, but to the fact that they chiefly perform songs by the original Sublime. Ska punk is a fusion genre that mixes ska music and punk rock music together. Ska-core is a sub-genre of ska punk that mixes ska with hardcore punk. Purchase tickets here.

The AWC orchestra and the Cibola drama department performs Peter and the Wolf at the Cibola High School Auditorium. A 'symphonic fairy tale for children,' is a musical composition written by Sergei Prokofiev in 1936. The narrator tells a children's story, while the orchestra illustrates it. Constructed to be a child's introduction to the orchestra, with each character in the story represented by a different instrument or group of instruments, but sophisticated enough to be enjoyed by adults. There are two performances 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Call 928-373-5202 for more information.
A new season of Yuma Territory Live Steamers is starting and the new schedule will include both Saturday and Sunday rides on the 2nd and 4th weekends, October thru May. Located at East Riverside Park, below the Historic Prison.
Yuma Territory Live Steamers offer rides to the public on a 7-1/2-inch-gauge railroad that is large enough for kids and adults to ride. Our goals are to have fun and to educate children and adults about railroading history and safety. Official railroad signals are used when we are running for the proper start, stop, reverse and going thru road crossings. Yuma is one of the major hubs for trains traveling through, some days having as many as 50 trains both coming and going.
Find the mini-railway located off of Giss Parkway on Prison Hill Road at Riverside Park just below Yuma Territorial Prison.
Live Steamers also offer charter runs for birthday parties, picnics and other events, as well as having a Junior Engineer Program for children to learn more about the proper operation of a train.
