This is where you need to be on a Friday evening: Julieanna's upscale/casual patio with its award-winning cuisine, attentive service that's just right, and great live music that truly fits the restaurant's relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere.

Jazz Nights at Julieanna's provides a variety of musical experiences: the highly regarded Yuma Jazz Company Quintet, Phoenix's guitarist and singer Pete Pancrazi, Yuma's own dynamic duo Jason & Elle, and the intimate YJC Trio. Great tastes to savor on the menu and off!

Julieanna's welcomes 'walk in' dinner guests, but you can also call ahead to ensure a table close to the music — 928-317-1961. So don't just 'go out' by default to a nondescript chain restaurant! Try a locally unique, fresh dining experience with great live jazz — opt for Jazz Nights at Julieanna's!

The Yuma Symposium offers an amazing series of demonstrations, lectures and slide presentations given by both internationally recognized and emerging artists who have demonstrated unusual talent.

Comfort food for hungry artists, like a potluck with great friends you know this event is going to be good.  Presenting artists come from around the country to share their work and bask in the warmth of Arizona’s winter sun while forming bonds that may last thirty years or more.

Activities include an exhibit of work by presenters as well as a student show, the National Saw, File, & Solder Sprints, the annual pin auction, an excursion to Algodones for food and of course some shopping, plus a final fiesta and dance on Saturday night!

For more info, call 928-782-1934 or go to www.YumaSymposium.org.

A new season of Yuma Territory Live Steamers starts October 14 and 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. through May 2018. The new schedule will include both Saturday and Sunday rides on the 2nd and 4th weekends, October thru May. Located at East Riverside Park, below the Historic Prison. Like us on Facebook, or visit website at YumaLiveSteamers.org or call 928-782-1988.

Yuma Territory Live Steamers offer rides to the public on a 7-1/2-inch-gauge railroad that is large enough for kids and adults to ride. Our goals are to have fun and to educate children and adults about railroading history and safety. Official railroad signals are used when we are running for the proper start, stop, reverse and going thru road crossings. Yuma is one of the major hubs for trains traveling through, some days having as many as 50 trains both coming and going.

Find the mini-railway located off of Giss Parkway on Prison Hill Road at Riverside Park just below Yuma Territorial Prison.

Live Steamers also offer charter runs for birthday parties, picnics and other events, as well as having a Junior Engineer Program for children to learn more about the proper operation of a train.

Stop by and check it out; the Live Steamers are happy to tell you about the club — a 501(c)3 non-Profit club which kindly asks a $2 donation per person for the ride.

All aboard!
