A new season of Yuma Territory Live Steamers is starting and the new schedule will include both Saturday and Sunday rides on the 2nd and 4th weekends, October thru May.  Located at East Riverside Park, below the Historic Prison.

Yuma Territory Live Steamers offer rides to the public on a 7-1/2-inch-gauge railroad that is large enough for kids and adults to ride. Our goals are to have fun and to educate children and adults about railroading history and safety. Official railroad signals are used when we are running for the proper start, stop, reverse and going thru road crossings. Yuma is one of the major hubs for trains traveling through, some days having as many as 50 trains both coming and going.

Find the mini-railway located off of Giss Parkway on Prison Hill Road at Riverside Park just below Yuma Territorial Prison.

Live Steamers also offer charter runs for birthday parties, picnics and other events, as well as having a Junior Engineer Program for children to learn more about the proper operation of a train.

Like us on Facebook, or visit website at YumaLiveSteamers.org or call 928-782-1988 for more information.

All aboard!

Now in its 32nd year, this event ushers in the holiday season of family fun featuring: dance performances, special guests, holiday cheer, Christmas carols, the Annual Friendship Tower Lighting plus a visit from Santa.  Admission is a donation of non-perishable food item(s) to benefit the Yuma Community Food Bank. The lighting of the tower is done by Yuma's reigning Citizen of the Year. The lighting creates the effect of a 200-foot tall Christmas tree which can be seen from miles around.  Call 928-343-1715 for more information.
