If it's summertime, that means two things; blockbuster movies and the Harkins Summer Movie Fun program for kids. For over 43 years, Harkins Theatres has brought back some of Hollywood's best family films to keep kids entertained and cool during the summer. Kids can enjoy a movie a week for 10 weeks, for less than $1 per film. Make Harkins Summer Movie Fun for kids an annual tradition for your family.  All adults must be accompanied by children.  Guarantee your seats by purchasing your pass at the theater box office!  This week the movie Penguins of Madagascar will be featured.  All adults must be accompanied by a child.  Tickets are issued on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Saturday's at the Museum series, held the first Saturday of the month from April through September at the Colorado River State Historic Park will be a fun and exciting time.  Participants will enjoy hands-on learning while creating historic crafts.  Space is limited to 20 children per activity.  The cost to attend is $4 per child and $6 per adult.  Open to children age 7 & up and must be accompanied by an adult.  Pre-registration is required and tickets can be purchased at the Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area Office.  This month participants will bring Yuma’s history to life by decorating a steamboat similar to the paddle-wheelers that once sailed along the Colorado River.  Call 928-247-6266 for more information.
