Summer at the Yuma Art Center is going to be out of this world! Check out our intergalactic schedule! Registration can be done at www.YumaArtCenter.com and ticketing at www.YumaShowTickets.com.  The Children's Museum, Art Smart Camps, Infinite Imagination Youth Theater and space-related movies every Saturday.  All movies start at 3 p.m. and are $1 per person.  Children must be accompanied by an adult. The Colorado River has made life possible in the arid Southwest, yet today it is a river that has been named one of the most endangered waterways in the U.S. This free program, presented by historian Tammy Snook, will explore the past, present, and uncertain future of the river.  Snook will discuss the historic ecology of the river, the era of dam construction, over allocation of the river's water, and how climate change is affecting the watershed.
