Make your own minion at Weld Like A Girl workshop on Saturday, April 6th.  This workshop will be in partnership with Littlewood Fine Arts and Co-op. In this partnership class, participants will start at Weld Like A Girl and create an approximately two-foot figure then participants will proceed to Co-op to paint the minion. 

All classes begin with safety! Participants will be taught about welding safety, plasma cutting and GMAW (MIG welding). Demonstrations and practice time are provided.

All safety gear ( safety glasses, welding jackets, gloves, welding helmets, and hearing protection) are included in the registration fee of $55.

Yuma Palms Regional Center will be hosting an Easter Egg hunt in the parking lot between Kirkland's and PetSmart.  Children up to age 10 can hunt for fun-filled Easter eggs (by age group).

Kids 9-10 - 1:30 pm

There will be an Easter Bunny, trackless train rides, inflatable obstacle course,  face painting by Funny Faces,  games & prizes. Yuma Safety Vehicles will also be available.   There will also be a photographer with optional portraits.

Join Weld Like a Girl for and abbreviated welding class where you will create a wine bottle display made from authentic Yuma horseshoes. After all the arcs and sparks have cooled off,  turn to the classroom for a free wine tasting event!

ALL classes begin with safety! Participants will be taught about welding safety and GMAW (MIG welding). Demonstrations and practice time are provided.
- this is a small group setting of no more than 12 people so that everyone can get the individual instruction and attention they need.
- safety gear is provided including safety glasses, welding jackets, gloves and welding helmets.
- FYI: if you already have your own safety glasses that fit you perfectly, you are welcome to bring them. Otherwise, we provide standard ANSI-approved safety glasses that are yours to take home.
- This class is co-ed.
- Children are not permitted to register for this class. (Usually kids are welcome but not for this one as alcohol will be on the premises.)

Join Weld Like A Girl and Littlewood Fine Arts and Co-op for a unique partnership: Wood meets Metal. In other words, you will fashion a wooden base at Littlewood Art Co-Op then walk around the corner to Weld Like A Girl to cut and finish the steel word/nameplate/image of your choice.  Participants will then walk back to Littlewood to unite the wood and metal halves to complete the project. The completed project will be ready to hang on the wall before you get home. This is a co-ed class.
