A new season of Yuma Territory Live Steamers starts October 14 and 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. through May 2018. The new schedule will include both Saturday and Sunday rides on the 2nd and 4th weekends, October thru May. Located at East Riverside Park, below the Historic Prison. Like us on Facebook, or visit website at YumaLiveSteamers.org or call 928-782-1988.

Yuma Territory Live Steamers offer rides to the public on a 7-1/2-inch-gauge railroad that is large enough for kids and adults to ride. Our goals are to have fun and to educate children and adults about railroading history and safety. Official railroad signals are used when we are running for the proper start, stop, reverse and going thru road crossings. Yuma is one of the major hubs for trains traveling through, some days having as many as 50 trains both coming and going.

Find the mini-railway located off of Giss Parkway on Prison Hill Road at Riverside Park just below Yuma Territorial Prison.

Live Steamers also offer charter runs for birthday parties, picnics and other events, as well as having a Junior Engineer Program for children to learn more about the proper operation of a train.

Stop by and check it out; the Live Steamers are happy to tell you about the club — a 501(c)3 non-Profit club which kindly asks a $2 donation per person for the ride.

All aboard!

Wondering what's growing in Yuma's green acres?  Our Field to Feast tours give you a close look from the ground up.  Led by a local grower, these half-day tours begin in the field planted just for us at the University of Arizona research farm.  There, you'll get a quick food safety lesson, along with hairnets, gloves, knives and a recipe card telling you whats needed in the kitchen.  Our expert helpers will answer your questions.  And once you've filled the chef's order, you can pick a little something to take home.  When harvesting's done get a look at agriculture in action from your motor coach - the exact itinerary depends on your guide and what's up in the fields.  As you look and learn, culinary students from the Arizona Western College transform the fresh veggies you pick into a delicious lunch.  It's a winning recipe for fresh fun.

Be an early bird, these tours sell out! Purchase tickets at Visit yuma.com/tours or call 800-293-0071
