What's Growing in Yuma Festival

The inaugural What's Growing in Yuma Festival will highlight all the fruits, vegetables, and more that are grown right here in the desert southwest! 

This family-friendly event will feature presentations in vendor booths on how to whip up a variety of amazing recipes such as mesquite honey tortillas, award winning hot sauce, indian fry bread, and zucchini cupcakes just to name a few.  And local vendor Bare Naked Soap will have classes on organic soaps while Desert Olive Farms will present their home grown olive oil. and Prison Hill Brewing Co. will have a Beer 101 Class.

Master Gardener Janine Lane will be there to answer all your gardening questions.  There will also be talks and presentations from Mr. Wierda on Pesticide Safety and Amanda Brooks regarding Food Safety. 

For the kids, Ms. Brassill will bring her water lab for some fun and educational experiments!  While Tanimura & Antle will have their Artisan Mobile and craft table set up and Lydia Reibel will have a plant-and-go potting craft.
