Sanguinetti House Museum and Gardens

In the heart of historic Yuma is the charming 19th-century adobe home of E. F.  Sanguinetti (1867-1945).  This quaint home is now an Arizona Historical Society museum chronicling Sanguinetti’s life story, as the Merchant Prince of Yuma.  Come for a revealing glimpse of old Yuma!

 Sanguinetti House Museum and Gardens

Visit the Sanguinetti House Museum and  Garden...and bring all of your friends!  Hear stories of how E. F. Sanguinetti came to Yuma penniless at just 15 years of age.  Sanguinetti quickly grew to become a civic-minded businessman whose various enterprises—electricity, ice house, ranching, farming, merchandising, banking, and real estate—advanced his own well-being and that of the community he loved.

New this season is the featured exhibit, SECRETS of Victorian YumaDraw back the curtain for a revealing glimpse of the later Victorian years as they unfolded in Yuma.  (Hear stories hushed overtime to a low whisper.)  Victorian years in Yuma were far more than floral decor and polite conversation.  Thus, the “Secrets!”
