On the Town: Best Spots for Yuma Nightlife
Published on May 12, 2017

While there is a lot to do in Yuma during the day, it's when the sun sets that the fun really starts to heat up! For travelers wanting to know the best places to enjoy an evening out on the town, we've put together our list of the top nightlife spots where out-of-towners are always welcome ...

Doin' Time — You haven't been to Yuma without having gone to prison ... Prison Hill Brewing Company, that is! With a name paying homage to the retired Yuma Territorial Prison, our city's one and only craft brewery serves a line-up of its own beers which are all appropriately themed, alongside a selection of regional guest brews. Hungry? Prison Hill's menu selection is top-notch, featuring hearty appetizers, smoked meats, cold cut sandwiches, and desserts which defy the standards of pub food. Located on Main Street in Historic Downtown, Prison Hill has front and rear patio areas, a full-service bar, several TVs airing live sports action, and is open seven days a week.

The Club Scene — Looking to dance the night away? The Kress Ultra Lounge is Yuma's premier nightclub in Historic Downtown and spans three, large areas across two floors, making it one of the best places to cut a rug rug. State of the art lighting and live DJs keep the energy going well into the morning, while the roofless rooftop lounge provides a spectacular look at the skies above while mingling with the locals. The Kress Ultra Lounge is open from 10:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. For VIP and bottle service, call ahead at 928-750-2551.

Press Your Luck — Whether you're a hard-nosed poker player or a casual reel pusher, Yuma's three casinos provide ample amounts of gaming excitement. Paradise Casino nearest to Yuma proper has 24-hour gaming, while Cocopah Casino & Resort and Quechan Casino Resort offer the resort experience and live entertainment, in addition to gaming. At all three locations, you will also find dining options, along with space for meetings, conferences, and celebrations. Note: Quechan Casino Resort is in California, but observes Mountain Standard Time.

Desert Watering Holes — Of course, if you're just craving a place to sit down, relax, and grab a drink, we've got you covered! Visit any of these great locations to quench your thirst:
